Rafan Khan - the man behind the New Paradise
Rafan Khan, known simply as Khan in the Horbury and Ossett areas, started working in his family's takeaway in Huddersfield at the age of 16, and by 18 he was not only a very strong contender in the "Curry Chef of the Year" regional finals, but was also running his own takeaway.
Khan's commitment to community involvement remains second to none. He supports many local charities, and has also worked with local schools to introduce the wonders of Asian cookery to the youngsters!
Rafan is an active and important member of the Guild of Master Chefs, and is highly qualified in Food Hygiene.
